I absolutely enjoy my job as a baby photographer, especially when I get to witness my clients reach milestones in their life. The first birthday, more often in my world referred to as the cake smash, is such a fun milestone to celebrate — not to mention messy! Baby L was my first cake smash as a photographer in Jacksonville, NC; but is has reaffirmed why I love what I do. Seeing his little face light up, watching him do his little happy dances and the little guilty look on his face as he dug into his cake made me fall in love with what I do all over again.
