My New Year Resolutions | Pleasantly Captured Photography – Jacksonville NC Photographer
2014 has come and gone with a whirlwind of activities; which include big decisions and an even bigger move back to the US. With a new year comes new resolutions both personally and professionally. 2015 brings a clean slate, exciting new adventures and changes for the better.
2015 is a year in which I want to improve myself personally and professionally so here are a few of my new years resolutions:
- Get out of my comfort zone – this means so many things for myself. I’m generally a very shy person so approaching people about photography or doing public events brings a certain level of anxiety. I want to also get out of my comfort zone creatively. I wish to try new things and experimenting with collaborations with other creatives.
- Take better care of myself – I know everyone can relate to this one! I wish to take better care by working out more, making sure I am getting enough rest and unplugging from time to time.
- Finish my degree – I’m am so close to finishing my Bachelors and it is time to buckle down and get it done!
- Learn, learn, learn – The ever changing field of photography means constant education. I am looking forward to learning new things that I can apply to my business!
- Give back – I want to find local charities and give back whether it be monetarily or with my time.
- Get a little more personal – Photography, believe it or not, is a very personal experience. My clients trust me to get to know them and capture such important moments in their life so I wish to get a little more personal through my blog and social media outlets.
There you have it, a few of my resolutions for 2015. Feel free to comment with your resolutions and let’s push to be better in 2015!
