Welcoming Baby E | Newborn Studio Session in Jacksonville, NC

Every newborn session is unique, but Baby E’s was especially meaningful. From heartfelt personal touches to soft, timeless styling, her session showcased everything I love about capturing the early days of life. Her quiet presence, dreamy features, and relaxed poses made this gallery one of my recent favorites.

Starting with a Military-Inspired Portrait

We kicked off E’s session with a deeply personal setup. Her family brought in a Marine camo uniform blouse embroidered with their name. I gently wrapped Ella in it and added a matching camo bow to complete the look. This setup not only honored her family’s service, but also created a one-of-a-kind portrait that will always hold sentimental value.

Because I work with many military families in the Jacksonville area, these types of tributes are always a joy to create. They speak to strength, legacy, and love—all wrapped into a perfect newborn moment.

Transitioning to Soft Florals and Butterflies

Next, we moved into a softer, more whimsical look. I posed Ella in a pink bucket surrounded by faux florals and delicate butterflies. The soft textures and warm tones created a peaceful, feminine aesthetic. Her tiny arms tucked under her chin and her floral headband brought the whole scene to life.

Additionally, this setup offered a beautiful contrast to the earlier military-inspired image, giving the family a variety of looks in their final gallery.

Finishing with Timeless Peach and Golden Accents

To wrap up the session, I styled a clean, classic look using my peach-toned backdrop and a cozy swaddle. A delicate golden pearl headband added just enough sparkle while keeping the focus on Ella’s peaceful expression. This pose remains one of my go-to favorites for timeless newborn portraits.

As always, I strive to create a calm, safe environment so babies—and parents—can relax and enjoy the process.
